Rlg-Adulawo Technology City was launched in January 2014. The launch signaled a shift in technology development, local content empowerment, and contribution to the Nation’s production capacity.

Facility capacity: 40-seater training facility; 20-seater conference room; 2 x 100 sq. metre products and components storage warehouses; staff quarters; R&D Centre; Electrostatic flooring; dedicated 500KVa transformer, 150KVa standby generator, CCTV etc.

Our facility is proudly ISO and NITDA certified with a 5000 STB/ 5000 Phones/ 2500 Laptops per day and over 200,000/month device manufacturing capacity.
With factory management team support from FOXCONN, RLG-Adulawo has enjoyed over 7 years manufacturing experience in Africa.

Training

The story of RLG Adulawo Technology City started with a youth empowerment programme dubbed “OyesTech” which is an offshoot of one of the most successful youth empowerment programme in the country dubbed “Oyes”.

Oyestech already trained 5,000 youths in the state on ICT skill specifics; to assemble and repairs all kinds of communication devices including set up boxes, laptops, tablets, phones & all types of mobile devices. Today many of the youth have become their own entrepreneur engaged in repairs of communication devices across the state to make a living. Also quite a number have been gainfully employed in the facility.

With the RLG-Adulawo training institute, more Nigerian youths acquire relevant technical, mobile repairs and ICT skills for fulfilling careers.

Manufacturing

We are involved in the deployment of educational devices for N-power project for the federal government.

The N-Power Volunteer Corp involves a massive deployment of 500,000 trained graduates who will assist to improve the inadequacies in Nigerian public services in education, health and civic education. Some of these graduates will also help in actualising Nigeria’s economic and strategic aspirations of achieving food security and self-sufficiency.

N-Power will also be a platform for diversifying the economy. N-Power is preparing young Nigerians for a knowledge economy where, equipped with world-class skills and certification, they become innovators and movers in the domestic and global markets.

Consumer Electronics

We are TV Enterprises/NTA partners to locally assemble Digital set-top boxes (STB) to fulfill NBC’s migration of TV signals from analog to digital.

In 2015, at the instance of RLG & TVE collaboration on provision of set up boxes for digital switch over, RLG expanded her plant’s capacity by adding an additional assembly lines in order to allow for the assembly of set-top boxes. The production capacity for digital set top boxes is now 600,000 per month (on a double shift basis).
