Ongoing Oyestech Youth Training Program

The ongoing training of Youths in The State of Osun of no fewer than 5,000 youths in Information and Communications Technology is no doubt one that will impact on the State positively.

The beneficiaries of this training programme are drawn from all the local government areas in the state ensuring that this empowerment initiative impacts on all the senatorial districts.

The commissioner stated that they could become self-reliant and employers of labour if they utilised the opportunities they were being offered very well.

The Chairman, RLG Adulawo, Rasaq Animasaun, said he saw the model of the training in Ghana and he introduced it to Aregbesola, who embraced it because of the positive impact it would have on youth development.

He explained that instead of travelling to Ghana for the practical aspect of the training, the trainees would have the opportunity to have industrial training at RLG Adulawo Technology City in Ilesa.

This is the second phase of this training programme in the State of Osun and it is no doubt rightly going to position these trainees on the right path for a better future.

Indeed this is a novel initiative with direct impact of the people by Government.
